At the track at three years old, Sulo's been steeped in racing most of his life. One month before his sixth birthday, he climbed behind the wheel of his first racing kart, and the journey began. For the next three years Sulo cut his karting teeth at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Those first few years produced 33 wins and 93 top fives in just 110 starts, including two Championships, a Pepsi Invitational win, and the 2005 SMKI Driver of the Year Award.

In 2006 Sulo jumped up a division and joined the Northeast Pavement Series, racing with the best young karters in the Northeast at tracks in Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut and New York. The '06 season closed with 18 top fives and five wins in 21 starts including wins in the Pepsi 500 at Richmond Raceway and The Race of Champions at Londonderry Raceway in NH.

In 2007 Sulo jumped up another division racing kids as much as 5 years older. Once again he proved he was up to the challenge, capturing 6 wins and 23 top fives in 28 starts. Season highlights included the Richmond Raceway Gold Plate Rookie of the year award, a Pepsi 500 Pole award, a win at The Woodstock Fair in CT, and dual wins at the Halloween Howler at Londonderry Raceway.

For 2008 Sulo's jumped to full size cars racing a Limited Late Model and PASS Modified. In his rookie season Sulo cracked the top ten ten times in twelve starts, with a season best 3rd place heat finish in the last modified race of the season.

In '09 Sulo stayed busy piloting two different cars at eight different tracks around Northern New England. In the PASS Modified Tour he pulled off four top fives in 8 races, including a breakout win at Riverside in July, making him the youngest driver ever to win a Pro All Stars Series feature event at 13 years and 134 days old. He also drove a limited late model car to a pair of heat wins at Canaan and All-Star Speedways and a handful of top five finishes. The heat win at All-Star gave him another "youngest driver to win" honor. With the success this year came some notoriety in the New England racing scene and some press including a short piece in national racing rag, Speedway Illustrated.

Not only a top-notch driver, Sulo is a Honor Roll Student, All-Star baseball player and linebacker at Mollyockett Middle School in Fryeburg, ME. In the Winter you'll find him snow boarding or snowmobiling when he's not keeping his skills up karting indoors. But once the snow starts to go, Sulo's heart and mind turn to one thing. Racing...
